天狗 (tengu) according to wikipedia are actually a class of supernatural creatures found in Japanese. Known as one of the yōkai (monster-spirits) and are sometimes worshipped as Shinto kami (revered spirits or gods).

Ok! Enough of history class! Here are some picture from the restaurant.

Me and my cute baby at the restaurant.

Acting Innocent with her! Hahahhaa!

How is the food there?? Well, the picture says it all! The price are a bit pricey for students like me. However the food there worth the price! I definitely go there for another try! Cause still got many unique food to try at the menu. Didnt have the chance to try them all due to "small wallet"! Kakakakkaka!

where is the place mr/ms Anonymous? I never heard of Smokey's hard-on barbeque joint in Kampar...
Its Mr Jack Mayhoffer. Smokey's hard-on is near the pizza hut in the mall. Another great place is called Ethel Mertz's JizPretzels. They have lovely pretzels in creamy sauce and freshly baked creampies. Also you have to get a Blumpkin which is a pie made from blueberry and pumpkin. You will enjoy it. Post pics when you do have it.

Indeed a bit pricey... that y the nice time i will be going there must be a special occasion. Anymore famous Japanese restaurant in ipoh??
try Waraku at Ipoh Grdn East. set lunches at RM15. their grilled meat/vege on sticks (kushiyaki) are realllllllyy good stuff.
go for Akamomiji and Kizuna also. but all pricier than Tengood i think.
for cheaper options, go for Kampai set lunches, in town near to the old Ocean Shopping Complex.
